This weekend I fixed the garden gate with minimal swearing, next up the dripping kitchen tap and then I'm off to buy some tiles for the kitchen. I wouldn't have known where to start before the course and I'm now comfortable these are achievable thanks to Ben's patient and knowledgeable teaching. Tash's snack were excellent, and thanks to Pongo and Boots for the warm welcome, and Loki for the generous gifts. I hope to be back for the next 2 days soon so I can attack the bathroom.

 Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Great introduction to a variety of diy skills,  day 1 we've covered filling, hand sawing, fixings, using a drill sanding and hammering, tomorrow we'll be combining these skills to put up a shelf and an introduction to tiling.

Day 2 was also good though the heat meant that we had to cut the tiling exercise short as the adhesive was drying faster than it could fix to the tiles.

I went through the two day basic DIY and tilling course and it was well worth it. I really enjoyed the structure of the course and felt like I learned a lot. We covered a lot of topics and everything was explained in the smallest detail. Ben is an excellent trainer and willing to answer any question. Tash made everyone feel very welcomed and I left with the feeling that they really care about their clients and they put a lot of effort and energy in the training. I did the 1 day introduction to tiling course and it was a brilliant day that gives you a good introduction to tiling and some common related tasks (plasterboard filling/repairs, putting up shelving, plasterboard fixings, cutting out socket boxes, etc.). Ben is a brilliant instructor - he explains things very clearly and is patient and kind in answering everyone's questions. Lovely atmosphere to learn in. Huge thanks also to Tash, who kept me in the loop about the course details and ensured we had everything we needed on the day. Thank you!

Ben and Tash were fantastic hosts and patient with the many questions I had. The course gave me the confidence to get on with some work in my own house, which I would have been clueless about before. I'd recommend this to anyone!

I took the opportunity to coincide the course with a few days stay in Lincoln and Tash very kindly picked me up from the local train station, due to limited bus services in the area. Thank you again, I hope to be back to learn more at some point!

He didn't mind demonstrating techniques multiple times, and he even shared some great wood-turning tricks. I walked away feeling confident enough to tackle DIY tasks at home.
