Broadening Horizons is the social arm of ‘Have a Go’, set in the Lincolnshire countryside, offering wellbeing days & mindful occupation days for those living or working in urban settings: tending the land, helping with animals, learning skills or simply having space to sit and ‘be’.
Referred clients and can spend the day on the ground, trying their hands at harvesting, weeding, pruning, planting and more, with the option to further their skills and gain satisfaction from a group carpentry project. There are several spaces to take time out, finding a solitary bench or hammock, or spending time petting the animals.

Broadening Horizons is an ideal place for your clients to experience something different that will boost their wellbeing
We accept individual referrals from the NHS mental health service, Voluntary Community Services and Community-focused Groups.
We have limited funding to enable groups and individuals to attend our wellbeing and mindful occupation days for free, and we are seeking to extend this funding all the time.
Our staff are DBS checked and first aid trained, and our business runs as a Community Interest Company (a non-profit organisation).

Broadening Horizons is perfect for staff wellbeing days and corporate team-building
We offer “out-of-the-office” hands-on days in a countryside setting, with animal interaction and outdoor activities to strengthen the skills, health, happiness and welfare of your staff.
We also offer group based carpentry activities, ideal for corporate team-building, upskilling and fostering a thriving, flourishing staff team.
For private bookings, prices start at £650 for a full day’s activities (9.30am – 2.30pm) for up to 10 people, fully catered including a buffet lunch.
